Updates And Remaining Votes To Count
- So far to date there are at least 60,144 Democratic mail-ins received in Montgomery County and 48,294 mail-in votes tallied for the 4 County Executive candidates.
- There are Actually AT LEAST 50,048 democratic mail in votes tabulated – this is the total for the U.S. Senator Race.
- This means at least 360 left their County Executive ballot blank
- It is possible that the race is decided by less people than left it blank.
- There are another 8030 Provisional ballots that are just starting to be counted.
- Any ballots received by 7/29/2022 that are postmarked by 8pm 7/19 will still count and those are still being counted.
- There are Actually AT LEAST 50,048 democratic mail in votes tabulated – this is the total for the U.S. Senator Race.

Previous Projections
What has changed since yesterday is that Elrich extended his projection lead while also gaining in the actual lead by a significant margin.
Conclusion
Hard to take too much from this one day but it was a huge day for Elrich.
As provisional ballots start to be counted they will be key for Blair to keep his lead.
There are still about 18,000 ballots (including mail-ins and provisional ballots) to be counted and the lead is under 100.
This will go the distance then probably end up recounting or in courts for a few weeks.
