EVENT: Register Now for Virtual “Caregiving Is a Juggle” Educational Session Presented by Ingleside Wednesday, April 5, 2023, 2 p.m. (ET)

Rockville, Md. (April 3, 2023)  – Ingleside, a premier not-for-profit provider of comprehensive older adult services in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, welcomes you to participate in its upcoming virtual education session, “Caregiving Is a Juggle.”

The session will take place Wednesday, April 5, at 2:00 p.m. Event registration can be found here.

Hosted by social worker and geriatric care manager Mary Ann Buckley, this valuable and informative lecture session focuses on the role of caregivers, specifically looking at such essential topics as prioritizing your health, decreasing your stress levels, and successfully building a reliable support network.

“Burnout and exhaustion are real concerns for those who provide care, at times it can feel overwhelming for care providers,” said Buckley. “My hope is that this session will serve as a guide and an encouragement for caregivers to understand that they can provide care for others by making sure they care for themselves.”

By listening closely to the wisdom Mary Ann Buckley has gathered through her 30-year career supporting older adults and their family members, this virtual session will help guide participants to consider the important qualities that make for a successful caregiver, which absolutely starts with maintaining their own health and well-being and appropriate work-life balance.
