For many moms, self-care is often the first thing to disappear from the schedule.

Between work, family responsibilities, errands, appointments, and the never-ending mental checklist of daily life, even a quiet trip to the grocery store can start to feel like a break.

NeuroSpice Girls is co-hosting an upcoming wellness event with The Whole Child Collective and Pink Moon designed to give busy moms a chance to pause, reset, and learn simple ways to better support their health and well-being.

โ€œThe Missing Piece: The Brain, Body, and Beyondโ€ will take place on Sunday, May 31, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Pink Moon, located at 7610 Old Georgetown Road, Plaza Level, in Bethesda. Tickets are $25.

The event is focused on helping moms understand that their own regulation, energy, nervous system, and health are not extras. They are foundational pieces of being able to show up for themselves and their families.

The afternoon will begin with a grounding group sound healing session intended to help participants settle, reset, and reconnect with their bodies.

Afterward, a panel of wellness professionals will share easy, accessible, body-based strategies that moms can incorporate into everyday life. Topics will include support for regulation, gut health, circulation, mood, and overall well-being.

Attendees will also have time to explore different wellness experiences, connect with panelists one-on-one, and enjoy bites from local eateries and women-owned small businesses.
