Award-Winning Student Robotics Team Launches STEM Toy Donation Drive to Support Local Families

Steamcharged, an award-winning robotics team made up of elementary and middle school students, has launched a STEM toy donation drive to benefit children served by the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF).

After discovering a passion for robotics, coding, and hands-on problem solving, the students behind Steamcharged wanted to share that excitement with other kids in the community. Their goal is to collect new or gently used STEM-focused toys and learning tools that encourage creativity, curiosity, and confidence through play.

All donated items will be delivered directly to NCCF, which provides critical support and services to children and families in need throughout the region.

Community members interested in supporting the effort are encouraged to stop by the drop-off location and help inspire the next generation of STEM learners.
