Local Braver Angels Chapter Hosts Workshop on Civil Political Dialogue
In an era of heightened political polarization, a local chapter of Braver Angels is offering area residents the tools to engage in respectful conversations across their differences.
The Montgomery County Alliance (chapter) of Braver Angels will host a workshop titled “Skills for Disagreeing Better” on Saturday, March 21st at 2:00 pm at the Twinbrook Public Library in Rockville. The event is designed to help participants improve their ability to listen actively and share differing viewpoints in a constructive, civil manner.
Braver Angels is a national nonprofit organization focused on restoring civil discourse and reducing polarization in American communities. Through workshops and structured discussions, Braver Angels helps people with different perspectives communicate more effectively and build understanding. The March 21st workshop will provide practical skills that participants can use in everyday conversations with friends, family members, and colleagues. Organizers say the goal is to help community members engage more productively on difficult topics and strengthen local dialogue.
