‘An amazing journey’
Asked how volunteering had gone, Alex said, “It’s been amazing connecting with the entire community of Montgomery County, seeing our entire diversity, seeing all of us unite together for the future of Montgomery County, and it’s been an amazing journey for me, especially as a young person.”
Asked whether the night felt like a payoff for the volunteers, Alex said, “Yes, indeed, and especially because Jawando trusted us as his team, and it will definitely pay off as we’re going to work together with him once he is officially county executive.”
Jawando also talked with Moderately MOCO on election night about building his team and a 100-day plan. Read the Will Jawando interview.
