AJ Lopez, an 8th grader, who has stepped up his game in the last two years and become one of the best upper weight wrestlers in the state. He is made for big moments and performs his best on the biggest stage.
George Tate, an 8th grader, is aggressive with great hips and has established himself as a serious upper body thrower. He has a constant motor and wrestles every match until the final whistle.
Noah Tucker, 7th grader, is the unquestioned team captain and face of Germantown Wrestling Club. His high wrestling IQ, passion for the sport and willingness to win makes him a formidable opponent.
Salah Tsarni, the talented 7th grader, possesses all the skills of a great wrestler. His resume of accomplishments is extensive and shows flashes of an elite high school/college wrestler at a young age.
Anthony Juarez, a 6th grader, has improved beyond his years and is determined to be a dominant wrestler. He is consistent, coachable and has all the ingredients of an outstanding wrestler.
All 5 National MD Schoolboy team members live in Montgomery County and will be attending one of the following high schools: Northwest HS, Sherwood HS, Poolesville HS, Watkins Mill HS and Good Counsel HS.
They are all excellent kids, aside from wrestling, and we are really proud that they will be representing Germantown Wrestling Club on the national level.
