A Montgomery County artist is gaining statewide recognition as his work heads to one of Maryland’s most prominent public buildings.
Justin Valenti’s fluid painting, Ocean of Blue and Green, has been selected for the special exhibition “Art In Full Spectrum”, currently on display at the Maryland State House complex in Annapolis. The piece has already been sold, but visitors will still be able to view it in person through the end of April.
A public reception for the exhibition will be held on Monday, March 30, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, at the Maryland House Office Building (4th floor). The exhibit will also be featured during Developmental Disabilities Day at the Legislature, bringing attention to artists from across the state.
Valenti, known for his distinctive fluid art style, creates abstract works using acrylic pouring techniques that produce organic movement and layered color. Ocean of Blue and Green reflects ocean-inspired tones and motion, blending vibrant blues and greens into a dynamic, flowing composition.
The early sale of the piece highlights growing interest in Valenti’s work and marks another milestone as his art reaches new audiences in high-profile public spaces.
