Dr. Jessica Hasson, a local clinical and forensic psychologist, has opened a mental health practice in Germantown, MD. She recognizes the clarity and therapeutic value a psychological assessment can bring. She decided to bring her unique approach to psychological assessment that merges data-driven assessments with therapeutic interventions to upcounty.
Dr. Hasson is a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience. She is licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC, and authorized to provide telehealth services in 42 states through PSYPACT. Her expertise spans a wide range of psychological evaluations, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and forensic assessments, as well as specialized evaluations for adult autism and ADHD. Over the years, she has shared her knowledge by conducting workshops for psychologists, universities, and legal professionals, while also testifying as an expert in various court proceedings. She is a published author, having written Essentials of Rorschach Assessment: Comprehensive System and R-PAS, and has published and presented research at both state and national levels
Outside of her professional work, she remains deeply committed to community service, mentoring future mental health professionals and coaching youth sports in Montgomery County. She often works with the 480 Club and Identity, two nonprofit groups in Montgomery County. She is also the co-chair of the Montgomery County School Health Council.
Dr. Hasson’s practice, Pay It Forward Assessments, LLC, believes in empowering individuals through tailored psychological evaluations. The assessments are designed to provide deep insights into cognitive, emotional, personality, and executive functioning. The practice also offers specialized services such as career assessments and forensic consultations, helping clients navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
Dr. Hasson’s mission goes beyond standard practice. Pay It Forward Assessments is dedicated to accessibility, offering high-quality, affordable evaluations along with pro bono services for uninsured or underinsured clients. Twenty percent of services are offered pro bono to those in need.
