ALL CAPS, which describes itself as a mycelium project hub that includes a farm in the DC region, is holding its last mushroom foraging class of the year on Sunday, Nov. 8, at Seneca Creek State Park in Gaithersburg. Spots can be reserved on the ALL CAPS website.

Experienced foragers lead the outing, and guests learn how to forage responsibly, identify key mushroom species and what to look for in the Mid-Atlantic region, according to the event page. After the guided walk, the group gathers at a table for a hands-on identification session covering the mushrooms collected, safety, ecology and cooking, with some mushrooms prepared fresh on site.
