Montgomery College will have a virtual meeting on May 2, 2023 at 6 pm for public input on the Facilities Master Plan that will be updated for 2023-2033.
From MC:
“The Facilities Master Plan defines how the College plans for new and upgraded facilities across all our campuses. Specifically, the Facilities Master Plan reviews the conditions of existing facilities and defines the College’s future needs outlined in the College’s strategic plan. The Maryland Higher Education Commission uses the plan to ensure the College is prepared to meet the needs of residents for postsecondary education and subsequently assess the College’s requests for new and modernized facilities. Further information about the current Facilities Master Plan can be found here: MC Facilities Master Plan 2013-2023.
The Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) requires an update to the Facilities Master Plan every 10 years. As the College embarks on our next Facilities Master Plan for 2023-33, your feedback will be helpful to ensure the College can meet the needs of the students and residents of the county. Two collegewide public meetings will be held between now and the end of fall, along with additional engagement sessions for specific campus locations.”
