Starting in 2023, Montgomery County Recreation department will be offering free passes to all Montgomery County Residents.
This is huge for those who can get to county recreation centers as they have tons of options and programs for all different ages, types of activities, and times.
One such program is the MoCo Pickup Ball Hockey program (send the page a message for private group link) which will now be free among other programs. They play Mondays (Gwendolyn Coffield Center in Silver Spring and Nancy Dacek in North Potomac), Thursdays (Wheaton Rec Center), and sometimes Saturdays (Wheaton Rec Center). Note: There is also a local youth ball hockey league for ages 4-13 that is NOT part of the rec center but is an option for kids.
